J, I'm sorry to here about the car. The most important thing is your both OK. I looked at the pictures...quite a bit of damage. I wouldn't be so quick to total it. The insurance adjuster will do it imediatly. But, it may still be salvageable.There is still quite a bit of stuff available from Saab. Last time I checked you can still get fenders, radiator support, and inner fenders. With a parts car, it could be done if you got premium value for the car from the adjuster. The tricky part would be finding a body shop willing to cooperate with used stuff. I did this last year on my '74 99, and it took a while, but I brought it back. If you have a factory manual, get the hood off and take some measurements from the body section. this will tell you the extent of the damage to the unibody. It may not be as bad as it looks.
