Great find Garret. I've got two C900 T 5-doors (only imported in '79 and '80). One is badly rusted around the wheel wells and the other has surface rust, faded paint, and no engine or transmission. I intend a full restoration of the latter. My current runner is a '78 99L 2-door, the third one I've owned. First one had 286,000 on it when I scrapped it because of rust caused by the Connecticut road crews and the ignorant use of sat to try to melt snow away. (Learn to drive in it folks, we do here in Oregon.) Second one gotthe engine and transmission from the first one. The transmission had about 340,000 miles on it when I wrecked that car.
I also have a '75 99 4-door that needs a transmission, steering rack and exhaust and a '77 99 3-door that has all the parts I need for the '75.
I think the 5-door is the most practical car anyone ever built.
We had a run on 9/9/99 on Rt.99W between Tigard and Junction City here in Oregon. One of the cars that made the full 99 miles was a recently restored '78 99 5-door that was brought down from Tacoma.
