If it's a Deluxe, the emblems on the side of the front fender will say so, as well as the tag on the glovebox door. Monte Carlo V-4 was only built as a '67 model. They were using up parts. The Deluxe in '68 came with radial tires instead of bias plys, double chrome strips the full length between the front and rear wheel openings instead of shorter strips on the fenders above the openings, velour upholstery instead of vinyl, a different instrument cluster that included a tachometer (basically the same as the Monte Carlo cluster), and two blank switches on either side of the clock that were used in the two-stroke Monte Carlo for the driving and fog light that were part of it's package. (No aux. lights on the Deluxe.) Can't think of any other things that were different between my basic '67 V-4 and my sister's '68 V-4 Deluxe.
