There are certain things you should be aware of. The 900 engine have a longer crancshaft with a three belt pulley, insted of the standard txo belt. This complicates the engine swap unless you want to hammer or in an other way push the firewall back. I know some people cut the crankshaft to fit it in, som people used the sledge hammer method. I guess you want to cut it (the crankshaft), and fit a two belt pulley. The next problem if you choose a H engine,is the water pump, wich needs a little more space on the top end of the firewall. What you can do without damaging the firewall, is to take out the innside(the rotor), and cut away the axle and pulley, and instead fit an elctric waterpump. The next problem is fitting the turbo in the engine compartment. Most people choose to relocate the battery to the trunk, to leave a little more space for mods. The turbo exahaust doesent realley fit in. In the orginal 99 the exhaust went straight down from the turbo. A 900 exhaust will need to be modified with a bend. There are some pictures on the web that show conversions to both 99t8 and 99 t16. Try this page:
