fuel boost system for 99T (Kevin?) Posted by JohnT [Email] (#1654) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JohnT) on Wed, 18 Dec 2002 17:14:06 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
More needs for my 99T conversion! The manual shows a fuel boost system which I did not get with the engine. Apparently it supplies extra fuel to the engine under high load/WOT (Wide Open Throttle). Can anyone tell me how necessary this is or if there is a good substitute? According to my info, the '78 99T and '79 900T used a pressure regulator and solenoid valve. '80-81 used an electrical control valve, "pressure tank", check valve and delay valve.
Kevin, I saw in some old postings that you ran into this same problem. How did you deal with it?
