Tedious but systematic approach:
-- Pull cable off spark plug, hold near block, crank engine, see if you get spark. You've probably done this already.
-- Pull coil wire out of distributor cap, hold near block, etc.
-- Disconnect points wire from coil, attach test light or voltmeter, crank engine, see if you're getting switched 12v to coil.
-- Disconnect + wire from points, attach test light or voltmeter, turn on ignition, see if you're getting constant 12v to points.
-- Disconnect ignition wire from back of ignition switch, attach test light or voltmeter to switch, turn on ignition, see if power is getting through switch.
-- Etc., etc., until you've either found the fault or traced it all the way back to the + terminal on the battery. The problem has gotta be in there somewhere.
