The 95 wagon rear shocks are lever action shocks with poor availability and my experience with rebuilt units has not been great. I believe this is an MG shock and vintage British sources will have units available. I finally gave up on remans and spent a lot of time converting my 95 to take conventional shocks. Once done the replacement is easy and new shocks readily available. I think Jack has a kit for this. The conversion shocks stick up into the tailgate compartment and reduce cargo width at the floor level, I believe that is why Saab put the lever shocks on the 95 wagon, to increase floor/cargo space. On the 96 the shocks did not interfere with anything. If you want to discuss how I did this, call me 530-899-1123 CA business hours.
