Went down to this local upholstery shop in San Carlos Calif. Car Upholstery on El Camino. In the past i've bough the fabric/foam from Trollhattan, but they went out of business. Its standard fabric with 1/4" foam back. They have it in all different colors. In my grey '86 SPG I used the tan and in the black '89 SPG I used some grey colored material. Most of what you want to know is in the FAQs, but use the 3M adhesive 08090, 3 cans for the headliner, sunroof and c-pillars. Make sure the shell is really clean before you glue the new fabric, don't rush, carefully push the fabric into all the indentations trying not to stretch the fabric. Thats what makes it look like the material is pulling away when it is glued and stretched too tight.Don't spray the glue too heavily on the foam backing it could bleed through the fabric and it will look like a stain.
