WHAT! Wait if you do an "all vintage" day... then the rest of us don’t get to see the classics.... my dad had a 99ems... does that count... can I go show up with my 9-3?... I don’t know how the owners of the newer Saabs discourage the classic owners... I love them (the cars) and hope to see them more often....

So I have one "yes!" and one "no" so far.
I would think there'd be enough "vintage/classics" that would show-up at any of the other club events to satisfy the "must see a classic" crowd. I for one, will try to do so when possible. I'm thinking about those folks (and I know they're out there) that have at least one drivable vintage/classic parked in the garage, as well as a newer model Saab that they choose to drive at the club events for reasons of comfort, reliability, insurance, whatever. In order to fully participate in the "classic-only" event, they'd need to drive their "vintage/classic". Then there are those, like me, that only own a vintage or classic (and some lucky folks with several to choose from!). If there were enough club "outings" during the year, say at least 5 or 6, there'd certainly be room on the calendar for one more vintage/classic-only event. We could certainly try to organize one, and just see who shows. BTW, I don't see any reason why newer model owners couldn't/shouldn't "lurk" at these events.
Here's a thought: Maybe the 1st event should be a 2-stroke and/or V4 clinic and parts-swap. This may help get some of these "old gals" back on the road and participating again. ;-)
BTW, I would think a 99 would qualify as a "double-digit" classic, don't you?
