looking at getting a Saab

Hey all,
I am new to this forum and am looking at purchasing a 1994 Saab 900S. It is the 2.5L V6 and has 63000 miles on it. I have driven it, and noticed that there was not much initial response in the gas pedal. In fact, when parked and you pump the gas pedal to rev the engine, it doesnt go much above 2 grand. Other than these things (and the ignition being on the console which is both incredibly cool and incredibly annoying :)) Nothing really stands out about the car in terms of negatives. It is a 5-spd and the body seems to be straight and the paint good. Its got all the goodies, leather, cd changer, etc, etc and the dealer is asking 6500 (kansas) Any information on the car would be most helpful, like any common problems I should watch out for, if the price is good, how expensive are parts, etc. I know next to nothing about Saabs, so please dont assume that I already know something that you are thinking. But I really love this car, so inform me. Its definitly differnet than the BMW I would be getting rid of to get it :) Also, I was wondering what kind of performance upgrade market there is for Saabs, I dont plan to make a street racer, but I wouldnt mind bumping the bhp up 15-20.
Thanks,
Scott
PS: I read on some review on the internet that you can pivot the headlights, is this an option, standard or crap?
