Would a lower fuel grade affect the coil packs by possibly putting any sort of strain on them? Just a thought. I know I had an issue with my '08 9-5 2.3 cutting out at a higher rpm. A trusted Saab tech suggested it was the 87 octane i was using. Sure enough, the problem disappeared with 93.
