glove compartment latch broken

2011 Aero, the glove box door has two latches and the right side latch snapped off. I see a new glove box door is ~$500!! used ~$200 or so (plus shipping). But this seems like a simple fix and I could 3d print the broken part ... if I could just get to it.

I've remove the box and separated the door but I cannot get access to the latch. surely the liner comes off the door to give access to the latch and mechanism, but I dont see any fasteners whatsoever holding the interior to the exterior .

anyone ever take the glove box door apart?

btw I checked WIS and seems that saabwisonline.com is not working:
