It's my company car but we are getting rid of co. cars and getting allowance instead. :(. Anyway, I picked the '11 9-5 a couple years as and co. bought it for me. Unfortunately it was pre bankruptcy and we didn't get a great deal on it. It has 35000 miles on it now. Has the navi and tech packages (HUD lane departure etc). no HK stereo (big mistake), no 19" wheels or rear entertainment system.
Will need tires soon but cosmetically it is ok with a few nagging type problems. Trunk light bar is dim, Navi system works but resets at every engine start now, "shift to park" error at shutoff even though car is in park - apparently could be shifter mechanism. Otherwise everything works as it should.
Due to the spookiness of getting it serviced (unlike my 9-3's) and the few problems it has I'm thinking of walking away from it clean but I really like the car. I might be tempted to buy it for the right price even with the problems. Co. wants $19.4 K for it, which is KBB. I'm thinking more like 16K or 16.5K considering the few problems it has. What are these things really worth? Is there even a used market for them? There are so few it is hard to find out what people are really paying.
