You'll need to replace some of those hoses sometime anyway, and I would bet they are your problem. If your wastegate was the problem, I'd hope the dealer would have caught it. Just use SVH from hosetechniques.com You can replace the vacumm lines to the TB at the same time, check them too.
Now would be a good time to buy a MBC, they're only about 15 bucks on ebay. Just set it to stock boost. Will give you faster spool up, and protect against pressure spikes, and takes that crummy computer controlled valve out of the loop. Then you can have some fun with raising the boost if you want. Read up on MBC's first. Its easy to do, but make sure you understand what you are doing.
If it was the DI, I would think you would have other problems too. If it is the DI, things will get worse. 87k is about how long it took mine to go. How long since you changed the spark plugs?
