Ahhh... someone answer this. I have the same problem, and it has no extended to my sun roof switch. My sun roof is now stuck in the raised position. Thank God its not slid back also. I'm sure this is a spilt beverage issue. I removed that stupid cupholder thing with the coin slots because of the annoying grips inside. When you pulled your cup up, the whole thing came out. But with it out... that larger hole is on a somewhat decline towards the front of the car and I'm sure some beverage has spilt because of the tilt of the cup.
This is only happening to me since its been very cold out. Am I too assume that with enough of a temp rise this will go away? How hard is it to access the guts of that section?
