There IS a crank position sensor, which would probably be your tacho-whatsis sensor on that bill. There is not a per-se camshaft position sensor; it's called a DI cassette by most. The crank position sensor tells the DI, for instance, when you're starting the car, that cylinders 1 and 4 are at TDC, however, one is on an exhaust stroke, and the other is on a compression stroke and ready to fire. The DI simply lights off spark plugs 1 and 4, and watches to see which cylinder the combustion takes place in, and things go from there.
Replace your spark plugs first, if the code recurs, it's DI time.
