In fact, it's doing better now than it has in a year or so. I just got it back from the body shop yesterday, they repaired the LF corner where someone decided to make a right turn from the left lane a few months ago.
Last night I replaced the lower idler pulley and changed the oil. The block is getting all oily, I probably should retorque the head.
After reading all the horror stories on this bb, I was pleasantly pleased at how easy it was to change the pulley -less than an hour, start to finish. I stuck with the original 13mm bolt rather than use the torx bolt that came with the pulley.
What else? Oh, yeah, I put a new DI in after getting stranded one night. I was kicking myself for letting the DI go that long. Naturally, it was 13 degrees out the night the car died....
I think we're going to keep it for another year or two. We need something with a bit more space to supplement or replace my wifes Miata. I'd like to add something a bit sportier to the stable, but we shall see.
