As dean pointed out, the saab cabin air filter has a plastic mesh backing, so if you're careful, you can take out, clean up with some mild soap and water,(don't use a pressure washer or compressed air on it) and reuse it. I was able to get mine pretty darn clean. The copy is not plastic mesh backed. Thats the difference in price and therefore, I say, clean your existing one. The air filters, if you are not going to go with a reusable one like k&n or JR, then the saab paper element versus copy might not be that big of a deal. The resuable ones are nice for performance upgrades and the fact that you never need to buy another filter again, just a recharge kit.
