Gear type hose clamps?
These, on small hoses are a problem. Remove the hoses, put them back, reclamp and expect leaks. The gear section of the clamp is too large and stiff to get proper clamping pressure on a used hose. Get SS gear clamps from the hardware store and use smaller clamps with smaller rigid sections when you can.
The SS hardware store clamps will tend to cut the hoses. Put a folded over cushion of dust tape in between. The fabric layer will prevent the hose jacket from been cut and extruded through the slits in the band.
Retighten the clamps a few times until things seem stable. The hoses move and yield under the clamps and the clamping pressure drops.
I had the same issue. Look for puddles of coolant on the recesses of the trany.
