Yes.

The 4 cylinder engine has only one bank, sensors 1 and two.

The sensors get signal ground references from the exhaust system. Resistance in the sensors connection to the downpipe or in the flanges at the turbo can create signal faults with good sensors. So you can't just throw new parts at it, but that is often done. Resistance in the engine ground cable can be turned in to a varying ground voltage offset by the current from the alternator. So that needs to be checked to, but rarely is I expect.
