I've purchased replacement leather seats... The seats are very easy to get in and out, assuming the adjustments work (with the power seats, sometimes this is not a good assumption).
I purchased both front leather seats from a 94 or 95 3 door from a salvage yard in Rhode Island. Depending on where you are, you may have local options to get seats. Otherwise, Goldwing and probably other yards will sell and ship them to you. Check the site sponsors.
I think any 900 seat will fit any other 900. I believe I read the 9-3 seats will not work as the rails are wider. There are some differences in seats, the newer ones have lumbar adjustments and little pockets in front that the ones I bought don't have.
If you are electrically inclined and want a challenge I have the driver's seat which doesn't adjust (short somewhere) and a passenger's seat in my garage taking up space. I personally decided the $300 or so I spent on replacements was worth it. Three door limits your option to other three doors or convertibles.
Good luck! Feel free to e-mail me if you want to help me clean out my garage.
