Well, the rough idle might be more of a sputtering and could show up on the tach, while a bad mount just causes vibration and some shaking often felt in the steering wheel while the engine is running and the car is not in motion.
Pretty good instructions in the archives on checking your mounts. Search "mount", "engine mount", and "transmission mount". It depends on whether you have a manual or an auto.
