Wiring Saab Amp

Went to the junkyard the other day and for $25 walked out with a Saab factory amp and the pre-amp wire ($88 at dealer just for wire!) Now I'm wiring it into the car. So far wired one door, moving on to the other once the snow stops falling in my area. Now on to the amp itself- I've found that their is NO wiring or plugs in the center console amp area. Bummer. So I've got the speaker wiring under control, just run the wires directly to the amp's output. What I do need to figure out is power to the unit-two wires coming out, yellow and black, since no pre-wired power plugs exist I have to do it myself. Had a thought though-the hands-free cell phone plug does exist in the center console. Pin 1 is power from the batter and pin 5 is a ground. I figure I can just connect the amp through that right? The two wires (yellow and black) off the amp are just to get 12V right? Pin 1 to yellow, Pin 5 to black is all it needs I think.
