If Deans method does not work, I have posted complete dash fascia and steering wheel removal instructions on the 9-3 BB. I'll link them here.
Be careful not to pull apart the vents as they are a PIA to put back together. Do you self a favor and pull the steering wheel off. You'll be glad you did.
