Hi,
I am looking to replace my a/c frost switch on the evaporator of my 94 SET. I took the glove box, air duct etc out and can see the switch and the nut securing it. There is also the 'wire' probe snaking around behind and dissapearing from view.
If I unbolt the switch, do I simply pull out the probe wire ? Can I guide the new one back in ? I can't even tell where exactly it goes from my vantage point in the footwell. There is a plastic 'end cap' type part that I'm guessing covers the side of the evap core. I tried pulling it off but stopped after I snapped off a plastic tab - luckily the detent is still intact.
Also on the end cap type part, there is a 4 terminal device that bolts on to an aluminum plate with 2 screws. Anyone know what that is ?
thanks,
Nand
