Hey all
I had posted a few days ago regarding my problem with my gauge cluster, the speedo and tach and other gauges all just quit on me while I was driving the other day and all the warning lights came on, only briefly then everything came back on just fine, it happened a few more times so I took it to my mechanic, he was sure it was the ignition switch so he put in a new one, problem seemed to be solved but this morning it started happening again. So for the hell of it I gave the dash a couple firm whacks and whaddaya know the gauges and lights came back on. So I am guessing I just wasted $350 on an ignition switch I didn't need and its the wiring behind the dash that is the culprit.
Any idea on what its going to cost me to get rid of this problem? the last thing I want to do is have to get a whole new gauge cluster.
thanks for any help
Kevin
