This is also addressed to anyone who knows anything about this, but I've found Dean's expertise to be most welcome and his answers have helped me more than once. That being said:

I have that same old shudder and delay of power when I shift from park to drive or reverse. I've changed the atf three times now in the last month and it doesn't seem to be improving. Could this be caused by too much fluid or too little fluid? I do have quite a time reading the dipstick...

I would really like a thorough listing of troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for this issue. I've had this problem since I bought the car (about 5 weeks ago). I've done a ton of repairs and this is the one problem that nothing seems to fix... there has to be an answer out there somewhere!
