Hi folks!
My 900SE won't cool my temper! I purchased the car last fall, noticing a few A/C recharge bills, usually one per summer. The A/C was cold then, everything seemed ok. By the end of the fall, the system seemed to be dry, no cold air. Well, now that the hot temps are back, I had them look for a leak in the system. They replaced my condensor and refilled with freon or whatever it is now. The day I left the garage, the fan wouldn't work for more than 30-40 seconds after starting the car... The faster I drove, the more air would be fed through the system, and the air coming out of the vents was cold. I posted and searched on the board last week and surmised it was the ACC cotrol module. I took the car back to the mechanic, he spent an ENTIRE day going through the system, saying that there seemed to be a short, or something, wasn't too sure, says he needs more time. Well, I have my car back now, the fan works, but the A/C won't engage. Any ideas? This is making me quite nervous, as cash right now is a bit tight (finishing my studies this summer).
