Glad that the simple (and free) fix is working for some people. I don't know that anyone has tried to replace those bushings. I was able to keep mine in place (engine end) for a number of months with a plastic tie. It will come out again if you don't do something. The plastic tie seemed like a permanent fix to me, but I DIYed the upgraded linkage anyway ($200). Good to go either way, I think. Good luck.
