I have a 96 Turbo, bought it about 3 months ago. Have had weird problems with since the get go.
1. coolant switch is bad, ignored but will replace maybe
2. check engine light came on, took to dealer and was diagnosed with (maybe) tiny holes in wiring and (maybe) needs rear 02 sensor, dealor reset check engine light and said ignore if light comes back on and there are no probs. with car because they are not really sure whats wrong with it.
3. Light came on again and off again several times, went off after heavy rains or washing the car.
4. Changed the spark plugs and light never came on again for a month.
5. About a week ago, brake light, gas light and warning (triangle light) come on and off while driving and all the gauges drop to zero, think that part might be the wiring harness behind the radio especially as you pound on the dash the lights go off.
6. Several days ago, start the car, all the lights are flickering and no power. After several restarts it goes back to normal. But car seems to be acting weird. (no specifics, just a general feeling while driving).
7. yesterday, car pulls same deal, dies while idling at a stop and than have to restart many times to get going, check engine light back on and staying on.
possibes that I am going to check.
1. bad ignition switch, i don't thinks so
2. crimp in battery cable, fix with a clamp
3. battery electrolyte level, top off
ANY suggestions are much appreciated!!! I should have kept my old 9000!
Also any recommendations for a good indie in NH
