I would not do the O2 sensor. It will CEL if there is a problem.
Check the plugs that are in there now. Are they out of gap spec? If so, thats part of the problem. What plugs are in there now? If they did work well and are NGK, perhaps thats the one you need. Blow/vac the plug well out before removing to keep sand from getting into the cylinders. The spec plug should work very well. Heat range 6 probably. 7 would be too cold. If the gaps are open and/or the plugs are fouled, new plugs will help a lot.
Clean injectors. Techron Contentrate. This will also clean some of the deposits out of the combustion chamber. Such can create hot spots that want to cause knocking, so the ECU retards timing an power drops. This problem is called acquired octane demand. You have a 10.5 compression ratio. You need to be concerned with such things. Use techron every 8k or 3/year.
I would clean the cap, rotor, coil face and cables and re-use. This does work well. I don't throw out things because they are dirty. You can wash in hot water witg dish soap, rinse, shake dry and bake dry at 200F in the oven. Remove to cool *. Apply ArmorAll while still warm. Rebake, cool and wipe off as much as you can. ArmorAll is a good dielectric. Used for years. (I never use it for tires or trim!)
* distributor cap too. The rotor will not come off, wipe off in place. Note any oil leakage in the distributor.
What about oil?
Other than that, I do not haave any hands on experience with that ignition system.
