If you jack up the car and are looking towards the front bumper, it is to the right of dead center. You can see where the trans sort of hangs down as it mates up with the motor. At the bottom of this flat circular trans there is a big bolt (24 mm sounds good. I used an adjustible wrench and the channel wrench from my '86 Saab 900 tool kit).

I drained it, this removes half the fluid. So I drained it again (after driving it) I will do it again soon(this should leave just one eigth old fluid in there. I don't know about the screen?
