Sure sounds like the engine oil cooler.
I rate that job as fairly difficult even though I have done it several times, and it have many trap falls that can make it even more dificult.
It's lots of hoses and wires connected to intake manifold and the manifold has to be removed one piece after the other, layer by layer.
The two oil cooler pipes has to be disconnected from engine block and the nut holding them tight can sometimes deform and get ugly.
The best manual is if you can still get the Saab factory one for the V6 engine. They went over to CD some years back but some manuals are still available in print.
Don't overlook that it also could be a bad cylinder head gasket. When the oil cooler is out it is important to pressure check it to make sure that it is the cause of the oil leak and not the head gaskets.
