dynamats installed (long)

I installed these into the front doors of my 900 SE conv. becuase there was a lot of rattle (of course) in the door and the music didn't sound very good. Although I know that there is a lot of loss off of the tweeters in the dash due to the sound bouncing off of the front windshield, I thought that the by installing dynamats in the doors I could at least improve some of the mid range sound.
The installation didn't take too long... in fact I didn't even take the inside panel all the way off the door. Just unscrewed the 4 screws on the bottom of the door, popped off the handle of the door with a small screwdriver, and then took out the two screws on the inside of the handle. Every other attachment to the door seemed to be simply a male/female plastic piece that just popped out.
After installing the dynamats I have to say that there is much less vibration. The sound is fuller in the car and I would say that the project is a success. I'd waited forever to put those things in and it was well worth the 2 hours or so. (Second door was really about 45 mins once I got the hang of it.)
