At this age, particularly for the convertible, its the condition that will determine worth. If it is in excellent shape then $7500 doesn't sound too bad. If this is what the dealer is asking, look for a cash discount. Vlad is probably right that 5k is closer to what the dealer paid at auction. Use a Saab experienced mechanic to check it over and surf this board to get an idea of what goes wrong. 2litre turbo is the best and most reliable engine, V6 can be trouble. A bit of research can help. See if you can find out where the car is from and use the VIN number to see if the local Saab dealer has any service record for the car. If you can uncover a service record, you'll increase what the car is worth.

As for the warranty, check the small print. A lot don't cover wear and tear and for a 7 year old car at 90k miles, virtually any failure can be classified as wear and tear, leaving you with a warrenty that covers almost nothing.
