Lookind for alterntives to the MX4s I've been using and ran into these on the Tire Rack site, and almost didn't look into them since they were so cheap ($40 195/65/15) that I figured they'd be a joke, but just for the hell of it clicked on review and was surprised to see that just about everyone who had used them thought they were not only a terrific deal for the price, but a respectable tire even when compared to tires costing 2-3X.

Searched this list and noticed that while most people here who have them like them a few have had trouble. That got me thinking so I called around and found that I could get the same tire from a reputable local dealer for $60 mounted and balanced - that's just about the same or maybe a few dollars less than getting them shipped from Tire Rack, than taking them to a local shop for M&B. Plus if they don't work out there's no arguing about who is reponsible.

BTW the local dealer said they are great and a steal for the price.
