Misfire Hell!

I'm at my whit's end. Forthe past week, I've had a wandering misfire. Twice I've pulled the codes, once P0301 (cyl 1 misfire) and then later in the week, P0304 (cyl 4 misfire)!
I've compression tested with no problem found.
I changed my plugs, no help.
Threw on my spare DI, no change.
Cleaned the combustion chambers w/ Chemtool, no help.
Removed and attempted to clean the #1 injector...that worked for 2 days!
Then, misfire in #4!
-regapped the plugs, no help...
I smell gas, so I am assuming the injectors ARE functioning. I was considering checking the resistance on the DI cable next. Anyone done this?
According to my manuals, an emissions related misfire WON'T read as a specific cylinder. I had been thinking O2 sensor, but.....?
I had also wondered maybe bad FPR or fuel pump, but why would it just read 1 cyl misfire codes?
I did smell a bit of a burning smell yesterday...Maybe I now have 2 bad DI's????
Any help would be appreciated....
