The first week I brought Paddi home, I stretched her legs out, and the speedometer read 137mph; not sure on RPMs. I was still going, but my passenger was a little "concerned." This was on our way to a Can-Am hockey tourney on the Thruway, so we had quite a bit of gear in the back.
Then, more recently with a different passenger, similar destination, I was travelling the 403 (Canada), and without realizing pushed her pretty good, but not at all stressed. As verified by my GPS, top speed was 131mph. I was actually a bit upset because the previous max speed on my GPS was 88.8 unintentionally (looked kinda cool).
The above times were prior to my recent enhancements (Board mods, etc.). Next time I find "safer" chances, I might try the same thing. The GPS is great because I don't have to worry about looking down at the speedo, trying to snap a pic, etc. This way I can keep my eyes on the road/traffic, and on the lookout for bogeys. (Still can't bring myself to spend on the V1 or Passport 8500.)
