So I installed the new front disks and pads on Friday. I beded the pads in as per Dean's instructions. Taking the test drive, the steering wheel shake during hard breaking is totally gone. The steering wheels shake and vibration during acceleration is almost gone. About 15% of it used to be. It is now at an acceptable level (I do have boost increased). I do have the MP Performance steering rack and brace which also helps.
I guess the old disks caused most of the problems. They were 6 to 6.5 years old.
I used Brembo rotors and Axxis Metal Master Superior performance Non-Asbestos Semi-Metallic Pads.
Hope this helps.
