Why not just unhook the electrical connector from the BPC? This won't allow for any cuurent into the unit so it wont be trying to open up the solenoid. Hopefully you have the barbs closed off with an extra piece of vac hose to keep the guts clean right?
So there are options for leaving the MBC in the car for winter mode...you could install a solenoid valve between the turbo hose and the BPC with a Y before the valve, one leading to the MBC the other to the solenoid. With a switch you could choose either the MBC or the BPC to control the boost. The +A setup will help with the temp changes but you'll still have problems with wheel spin in the winter so the solenoid switch might help.
