Clutch replacement : What NEEDS to be done? $$$

Hi!
My clutch is shot, (1995 900 SE-Turbo) ok, time to open my wallet (again), these cars cost over 2000$ in mechanical repairs per year, right?
Well, I'm getting 2 stories from 2 different garages. Garage A will install new clutch, replace 2-3 seals if need be, and charge +/- 6hrs labour, total bill about 885$. Garage B will install new clutch and says that crank seal should be changed, that the flywheel should be polished and that a fork (I'm not sure what they meant exactly) should be replaced, and said the job could take up to 10 hrs, total bill 1075$.
So, my question is, what needs to be done? My car is 9yrs old, has started to rust at the bottom of the doors and the trunk, I won't be able to get much for it in a few years time, and I only put on about 10 000 miles per year on it, (now has 103 000 miles). Is what garage B suggesting all preventative maintenance that I will be sorry I didn't get done, or is it really needed, keeping in mind the condition and usage of my car?
Thanks folks, you all make this site a tremendously valuable ressource!
Richard
