Why do I hear grinding when I turn in reverse?

Sorry for the repost - hopefully someone has an idea why this is happening, otherwise, I'll probably sell my 900s :(
So I put a new clutch in myself last month - while I had the tranny out, I brought it over to Scanwest auto in Greenwood (Washington) and had them look it over - they replaced the reverse synchro, some seals, etc.
Anyway, now I hear a grinding noise when I go into reverse at an angle as I ease off of the clutch. This only occurs when I'm turning in reverse at a decent rate of speed. When I slowly turn in reverse, or go straight back, I don't hear the grinding noise.
Could this be the clutch disc? If so, why is it only happening when I reverse at an angle? Could my brakes be misaligned? I'm pretty sure it's not coming from the driveshafts, but I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks,
Sung
