Ignition switch can only be checked by removing it and reading the part number.
If it is the old part number you should have a new installed anyway since the old one is known to go bad.
Old P/N 4409553. New P/N 4946307
If it have the new part number it's up to you if you want to spend the money putting another new one in. I have seen a couple of cases where the new one failed.
SRS system can only be reset by use of Saab proprietory scan tool.
If battery is drained and ignition turned on, the SRS light might come on.
