Can you smell coolant in the car? If not, heater core is less likely.
In addition to stuff people have already mentioned, here are a few more sources of "hidden" coolant leaks:
- engine oil cooler! You don't necessarily have to have coolant in your oil or vice versa for this to be a problem. This is a known issue on the V6. Coolant will appear in the V between the heads. I have a small leak of this kind right now and you don't see it until the next morning, and then you have to use a flashlight. It's actually easier to see in the dark because the coolant reflects. See linked post below. Depending on the nature of the problem, you might need a new oil cooler ($$$) or just to have the cover resealed (my case).
- less likely, but same area: the coolant "bridge" where the coolant temp sensor goes into the top of the V between the heads; there are a few hoses around there. Check carefully.
Other crap that you'll figure out in a hurry if you get some cardboard down: radiator, other hoses, coolant tank.
Like Asia, I have replaced all of the hoses over time and can confirm that it's a PITA. But it is not really that hard. Prepare to get dirty and to spill a lot of coolant everywhere; it was nasty.
Good luck!

Leaking oil cooler cover = you would have coolant leaking out of the valley between the cylinders
