Sounds like your shift linkage - have you had the upgrade installed yet? In the meantime, you can avoid grinding when you go into reverse by shifting to any other gear first, and then shifting to reverse.
Probably isn't your clutch, as it wouldn't just happen overnight. You would have problems with slippage first. Your clutch cable may need the slack taken up on it. Do a search on this - it's been covered before on the forum. An easy way is to depress the clutch to the floor and then slide your foot off so it springs back by itself.
