it was just like you said, the end of the wire had pulled out of the controller.
Interesting that the shop manual said to fit the front two bolts first and tighten the inside one first, the fit the rear two, and tighten that inside one first as well. There was a big warning on how that tightening-order was critical.
This car is getting to be a better deal all the time! PTL!
