Just some musings about short comings of my 1995 900S Convertible. My wife bought the car new in September of 1995, price was an even $30k. While this is a fun car to drive and great in the spring/fall with the top down, there are some inherent engineering weaknesses I noticed: 1) weeping rear main seal, I've had about 40 cars in the last 40 years with my wife/kids, etc and have never had a main seal leak until this Saab..and I keep cars for 175,000 to 275,000 miles; 2) clutch cable, never had one break until this Saab, broke at 85,000 miles and was a PIA to replace; 3) convertible top motor, seems it twisted and had to be replaced with a factory upgrade, the good news was no cost under warranty; 4) head light bulbs, seems they need to be replaced every 4-5 months, previous cars every 4-5 years;
