You have a 10.5 compression ratio and it needs premium fuel to get peak performance.
The injectors, plugs and combustion chambers also need to be clean. Techron Concentrate will do 2 out of 3.
Keep plugs in gap and replace if fouled.

3" duct mod, search for 'duct mod' - works well and low cost
A lower restriction exhaust system will help, but the Saab Sports exhaust, stainless steel, no resonator, low restriction muffler, is VERY LOUD on a NA application. On the turbo apps, the turbo charger itself is an effective flow smoother and acts like a muffler. You will probably need a resonator and a muffler in a replacement system.
Do you know the oil history of the vehicle? Suggest not using dyno oil and doing a flush. Check for sludge by removing valve cover, and check the head bolt torque while you are in there. Check that the low oil pressure warning lights up before cranking the engine. If if does not, replace the busted oil pressure sending switch. Some things are good to know before a major investement in mods.
Do do those checks before shovelling $$$ into the vehicle.
Suspension, SAS type sway bar is very easy to install and best bang for the buck. And you can easily spend 1 to 2K on suspension. If you are going to do that, to take advantage of such, you need high performance tires, not all seasons. 15" tires will not do very well, you will need 16" at least. You do not need 17", but if you need new wheels, perhaps.
Survey your brakes, especially the rear calipers and make sure that all pads are free to move in the back, front sliders do, all pistons are free to move in and out, push them back and see. I suggest so you can avoid dumping $$$ into mods then finding out about brake repairs that then blow your budget. If you know that those things are good and well you can feel better about spending money on mods and knowing that other common repair expenses are not around the corner.
