First and formost be carefull. A loaded spring is a powerfull thing. From what I have read I have picked up both ball joint boots. I plan on installing the boot and lower clip and then taking a grease gun and needle and injecting a boot full of grease and then apply top clamp. Mine are about toast anyway. I hope I don't get in there and discover I need control arms because of ball joint play. If I do I will have to consider the suspension upgrade kit from Thesaabsite.com for $430 that has Saab control arms, sachion arms, sway bar, links and hardware. The control arms are +200 each at Eeuroparts.com for Saab. I have an extra CV outer book from Eeuroparts on hand in case I damage one during the process. I have new bolts for the ball joints 18mm and CV joint 32mm nuts (self locking). I have prepared myself but that ever item that gets stuck and will not budge will blow me out of the water somehow.
