Might be the evaporative control/charcoal canister purge valve. The valve opens cycles off/on, after the engine is up to running temperature, to allow the gas vapors stored in the charcoal canister to be burned.
The purge valve can be cleaned using WD40 (which worked for awhile with my old purge valve) or replaced for about $65 from site sponsers like eEuroparts.
The purge valve is located on the passanger side of the engine compartment (USA) in a a rubber donut attached to the strut tower brace. Do a search on "purge valve" for more information.
